    #operating-systems | Everything else from the web UI to A/B update logic is written in Go. It boots in literal seconds, uses an insanely small amount of RAM out of the box, and runs with nearly zero overhead.

    I easily get over-excited by operating systems written from scratch in modern programming languages like Go or Rust. Has to do with the fantasy of "hopefully getting things right this time".
