When I was younger I was always wondering "why don't people just keep all the law on Github?"

I love revisiting this one from time to time.

I easily get over-excited by operating systems written from scratch in modern programming languages like Go or Rust. Has to do with the fantasy of "hopefully getting things right this time".

Creators deserve a way to promote monetize their work that doesn't keep them locked in and doesn't tie their wellbeing to changing decisions of a privately owned company. This is why I always wondered why Patreon is the platform of choice for so many people. This amazing article helped me understand better what Patreon is really doing.

This absurdly entertaining method of building electrical circuits looks so crazy that I was stoked to discover that it is actually quite robust. I mean it went into space! SPACE!

I can't directly relate - my side projects are usually explorations driven by curiosity, and I always enjoyed building more than launching. A great read nevertheless!

I played way too much Angband back in the day! I mean... Literally, I should have played less Angband and more ADOM or Nethack because I missed out on so many aspects that Angband plain out refused to develop, in order to make more space for grindy hack&slash. Nevertheless I remember the game fondly and I should write my own retrospective one day...
